The 10 year old was at her Dad’s house and after only being gone one day she was telling me how much she missed me. I thanked her and then reminded her that I had been really grouchy for a couple of days before she went to his house and that maybe she was glad to have a break from me. She said, “I don’t mind your grouchiness – it makes you unique.”
8 year old: Why do they call a bathroom a bathroom? Oh wait, is it because we take baths in there?

8 year old: But we don’t take baths a school and it’s still called a bathroom.
